Dear Shrishti,
I was walking near the scattered trees. The sunset was about to fade, and the blue sky was getting darker and darker. The space between the trees grew black in the daylight and mysterious. Only a few stars twinkled in the sky, and the silhouette of the treetops appeared to be a ghost. The trees grew thinner and thinner.
At first, my imagination stopped, where I stopped. A lot of silence apart from the breeze. Then I went ahead and heard someone's echo of footsteps approaching. I kept on moving away from the bushes. After some time, I found myself lost. When I listened to the sound of the water, I ran towards it. I kept on running until I reached into the water. The night was calm and peaceful. The water waves washed the coral reefs. I felt I was being watched by someone.
Keeping my eyes on the trees, I turned westwards to cross the headland. As I moved ahead, the shadows were following me! My heart started pumping faster and faster. As I saw the spy, I turned towards him, but my throat was dried up already. And finally croaked out, "Who is there?" Nobody spoke up. I will stop writing here.
Your Sincere friend,
Yashvi Gavankar
