"The Unexpected Escape"
It was a hot day in May. Carrying a heavy bag filled with books, I walked to school at 7:25 AM, dressed in my birthday clothes. I savoured the warmth in my new running shoes but felt nervous—it was my first day. As I turned the corner past a restaurant, the school loomed ahead, mysteriously strange.
Unsure of where to go, I met a teacher who kindly guided me. When she showed me my locker, I found many letters inside and a message on the door: "Welcome to Jeju Foreign Language High School! Here your journey begins! Hope you enjoy it with your teachers and friends."
I soon met a girl who directed me to math class in room 254. But the room was empty when I entered except for ants, cockroaches, and lizards. To my shock, the same girl locked me inside. I spotted a hairpin on the ground and tried to unlock the door, but it didn’t work. Undeterred, I cleaned the dusty room and found a key. The first door didn’t open, but the second one did—leading me not back into the school, but onto a beach.
