Interviewer: Can you recall the moment when you realized your ability to jump buildings and high-rise structures?
Alain Robert: Absolutely! It happened when I was 12 years old, and I can still picture myself hurrying back to my family's apartment in Valence after losing my keys.
Interviewer: What are the different challenges that you face during and after you climb?
Alain Robert: When I'm climbing, I encounter various challenges both during and after the ascent. The wind and sun make it particularly difficult as they cause my hands to sweat, making it harder to maintain a firm grip. Additionally, if the windows have been recently washed, it becomes even more challenging to climb as my hands tend to slip.
Interviewer: Do you plan on bringing awareness to a specific problem in the future like you did for Global warming? And what would it be?
Alain Robert: Absolutely! Just as I have dedicated myself to creating awareness about global warming, I have plans to address another specific issue in the future. Being a professional climber, I have noticed that many people try to imitate my climbing techniques without understanding the potential dangers involved. Therefore, I aim to raise awareness about the importance of proper training and safety measures for professional climbers.
