Dear Kavya,
I hope you're doing well. I apologize for not responding to your emails sooner as I was travelling this week. I spent the last month in my village in Sawantwadi.
In the village, people travelled by bus, tum-tum or walked. The environment was pleasant, and the air was fresh. There were lush green meadows everywhere, with a stream running through them. The farms had different types of fruits and vegetables growing, and I could smell the mangoes, which were tempting. Every house had a television and radio.
I visited my village to relax after my exams, and I had one month's holiday from school. I chose to stay here to escape the monotony of city life and noise.
I bought handmade carpets and unique fruits and vegetables that are not available in the city. Overall, my experience in the village was amazing, especially during the cold nights. I highly recommend you to visit our village as well; it will surely change your perspective.
Take care,
Yashvi Gavankar
