Should young people do social service?
26th September, 2023 By Yashvi Gavankar
A few days ago, my classmates debated the topic of how young people should engage in social service. In this article, we will explore the positive aspects of social services given by young people, as well as the issues they may face.
One common issue is a lack of time for volunteering, as young people may prioritize their studies or other activities over social service. Additionally, some may avoid joining activities that do not offer payment. However, young people have the potential to make a significant impact by helping others whenever they can. There are no specific rules that prevent them from assisting other communities. By being empathetic and always willing to help, they could contribute to reducing poverty and promoting economic development in our country. By experiencing the lives of underprivileged individuals, young people can gain a better understanding of the importance of social responsibility and inspire others to do the same.
To start, young people could use their pocket money to purchase essential items like food and clothing, and could also educate children and parents about newer technologies and regulations. By spreading awareness, they can help keep people up-to-date and informed.
Social service is a selfless act that young people should prioritize, without expecting payment in return. They should be motivated to help others and contribute to the greater good of society.
