Summary of Avocados and farming methods involved in growing them.

Avocados is a sub-tropical, valuable crop, which is grown in the hot summers and mild winters of Andalusia, a region in southern Spain. Fleshy avocados are a source of monounsaturated fats and nutrients which help in improving heart health. High winds of Andalusia can stop avocado production. Crops should be watered after every 4 days to prevent the shallow roots from dying. Avocados have a 'hass' disease, which provides a good crop once and later biennial bearing. These trees are partially self-pollinating, and if the bee population decreases, there will be limited crops grown. The ripening process requires 1-2 weeks after the fruit matures. Keeping avocados on trees for a few days, lets the farmers earn the best prices while keeping them for many weeks may cause a loss.
