Global Perspectives - CRAAP Test

The CRAAP framework is used to evaluate the reliability and quality of information sources.  

- C = Currency 

  Refers to the timeliness of the information. Is it up‑to‑date and relevant to the current context?  

- R = Relevance  

  Measures the importance of the information for your topic or research question.  

- A = Authority  

  Considers the source of the information. Who is the author or publisher, and are they credible?  

- A = Accuracy  

  Examines the reliability and correctness of the content. Is it supported by evidence and free from errors?  

- P = Purpose  

  Identifies the reason the information exists. Is it meant to inform, persuade, entertain, or sell?
