Speech: Holidays

 Respected teacher and my lovely friends,

Today, I am here to share the importance of holidays. People in general would like to travel to places inclusive of mountains, valleys, beaches plateaus and hills. Every tourist spot has its own unique features and landmarks. Tourists travel to holiday spots to escape from the monotonous work and the din of the environment. Some people travel to explore new places and have exciting adventures.

I have visited Matheran hill station, The Calangute beach, the Vaishnodevi mountains, the Nilgiri hills, Gorai village and the Amby Valley. However, the Matheran hill station is my most memorable tourist spot. We travelled on a toy train which was as its name suggests a very small train. The toy train was an enchanting experience. As soon as we alighted from the train, we summoned a taxi to drop us at the Sunrise Inn. The hotel's lobby was out of the blue with huge chandeliers and cosy sofas. The suite was spacious with views of the scenic beauty of nature. The breakfast and lunch were elaborate and tasted delicious. The hotel had organised a list of activities for the evenings. The time was packed with trekking, horse riding and many more exciting adventures.

I don't think that it is necessary to travel abroad for vacation. All the activities that are present abroad are also now available in our nation. Travelling abroad wastes our time travelling long distances as well as our money as the cost is expensive, Travelling abroad is a necessity to only understand their cultures cause finding new cultures in our nation is quite difficult.
