Write a letter to a local newspaper about graffiti and street art.

Dear Editor,

As a teenager from Canada, I want to share my views on a proposal for street art workshops that can benefit Vancouver, as well as tourists. Although many people are not happy with this proposal, I appreciate such workshops. They can teach the younger generation how to express themselves through graffiti, a new art form that will be introduced to us.

The vibrant colours will attract more tourists, and everyone can view the talents of ordinary teenage artists. They can use their art to spread awareness on important topics such as "Save Water," "Types of Pollution," "Global Warming," "Deforestation," and more. By showcasing their art on the streets, they can create an open art gallery or museum for all to enjoy. This will make our city popular in the country and worldwide.

However, there can be times when people draw inappropriate content that is not approved by the government. In such cases, it should be penalized, and a layer of white paint can be used to erase it. It may be difficult and expensive to erase such content, and sometimes, the owner of the wall may not approve of the art on their property. In such cases, we should ask for their permission. If they do not allow it, we should respect their decision, but we should not let our streets remain boring.

People will love taking pictures of these streets and sharing them online, which will attract more tourists and contribute to the rise in the GDP level. These artists will become popular even without revealing their faces, but with their names. Fans may be curious to learn this new art form.

Thank you and regards,

Yashvi Gavankar
