It's good to hear from you! This week my friends helped me organise a fashion show to raise funds for Shantidan, an old age home in Gorai. It is a beautiful home designed for aged people in a suburb of Mumbai, where they live in comfort.
It was a mammoth job for my team to work hard on advertising the show entitled 'Beauty with Brains'. We distributed brochures containing information near the crowded areas. As we wished to target a huge audience, so we advertised on social media platforms. The Philanthropist, Tata Group sponsored the show for us. The participation fee was 500 rupees and free entry for the audience.
There were 50 participants dressed differently who wore glamourous outfits and looked stunning. The question round was a hit, when one of the participants, Juhi Sharma answered out of the box and stole the show. This was followed by Dhruvi Shah securing the second place. We collected a decent amount of rupees 5 lakhs and donated it to the trust.
