Version 1(Low vocabulary):
The parking lot was completely packed, and people had the fear of not getting a place to sit in this expensive café. In the scorching sun, my sweat rolled down my cheeks and so on. Hence, I decided to go and sit inside the modern café.
The wallpapers were themed about jungles. The frames were about the sad news on animals, which were torn out from an article. There were a few rare species, such as teeth, horns and fur in a transparent glass box. There was a musical instrument with black and white keys, which was covered with plastic grass, and the keys were decorated with an image of the "King of the Jungle" lion roaring. The wooden bench and the rectangular table gave me a feeling that I was a student sitting in a classroom.
The cashier was busy at that moment, checking posts on his mobile phone. The waiter was extremely polite and kind. The customers right in front of me were celebrating the cute little girl's birthday, and the person beside me was multitasking on the laptop while attending a meeting with his boss.
I ordered a cappuccino with chocolate chips and a side dish of vegetable chips. Soon, the waiter brought my order. The coffee was excellent, but the chips that I ordered weren't made up of any veggies except brinjal, and on top of that, the brinjal was rotten, so the taste was disgusting and was quickly removed from my mouth. The utensils were made of marble and looked like a mortar and pestle.
The birthday girl had her own photo on the hot coffee, which made her happy. On the other side, there was a projector that was displaying the lives of animals in a jungle.
From far away, I could hear the cracks of the coffee beans being crushed in a huge grinder. The buzzing bees were continuously disturbing me.
The bright, colourful and fragrant flowers were arranged so well that it was difficult for my eyes to take them off. There were red roses, half-blooming tulips and many other kinds of flowers. It seemed as if the flowers had just arrived from a garden, as their stems were being cut off by the waiter and slowly dipped into the vase, half-filled with water.
An old woman came towards me, asking if she could borrow the chair if it wasn't occupied by someone. Her oily hair was plaited and tied with a ribbon. She wore a dozen green bangles, gold earrings and a black-bead necklace called the mangalsutra. She also wore a ring that had a mixture of ruby, sapphire, emerald and diamond. The ring seemed quite expensive.
Finally, my friend arrived, I gave him a huge hug, and then we continued with our conversations.
Version 2(high vocabulary):
The parking lot was packed to the brim. The people were not sure whether they could be accommodated in this luxurious, expensive cafe. Due to the scorching summer heat, I could feel my sweat rolling down my cheeks. This made me very uncomfortable, as I had at the last moment forgotten to carry my handkerchief, which I needed at this moment to wipe out my sweat. So with much determination, I decided to have a seat at the last table of the modern cafe.
The wallpapers were unique, with extraordinary themes illustrating scenes from the jungle, depicting wildlife. The frames were about the poignant news on animals, which were cut from several articles and magazines.

I ordered a cappuccino with chocolate chips and a side dish of vegetable chips. With a gleaming smile, the waiter promptly came up with a tray of the delicacies I had ordered. The coffee was excellent, but the chips were not up to the mark because they did not have exotic veggies except the brinjal, which tasted a little rotten. The side dish was so disgusting that I quickly got rid of it. The utensils had an ethnic look and resembled the mortar and pestle.
The birthday girl had her own photo on the hot coffee, which excited her immensely. At the far end, there was a projector on, which was displaying the lives of animals in the jungle.
At the far end, I could hear the crackling sound of the coffee beans crushed in a huge grinder. The buzzing bees were a great source of irritation.
The bright, colourful and fragrant flowers were arranged so well that it was difficult for my eyes to take them off. There were red roses, half-blooming tulips, marigolds, dahlias, chrysanthemums and many other varieties of flowers. It seemed as if the flowers had just arrived from a garden, as their stems were being cut off by the waiter and slowly dipped into the vase, half-filled with water.
An old woman approached me, asking me if she could borrow the chair if it wasn't occupied by someone. Her greasy, oily grey hair was well-plaited and tied with a large, red ribbon. She wore a dozen green bangles, gold earrings and a black beaded necklace called the mangalsutra. She also wore a ring embedded with a blend of rubies, sapphires, emeralds and diamonds. The ring seemed gorgeous and expensive.
At last, to my great dismay, my friend made her appearance. I was full of rage and didn't know what to say. I cast an angry glance as much as to say that I could never trust her in the future, as she had let me down miserably today.
