Descriptive Essay of a place you would like to go back to.

 Life is an adventure, and we all need to break the monotony of our day-to-day lives. Therefore, we should explore the enchanting wonders of the universe. We are always on the lookout for our fun-filled summer and winter vacations. To enhance our pleasure trips, we visit several exciting places, both nationally and internationally.

I have been travelling to many places since my birth, including mountains, valleys, beaches, plateaus, and hills. Every tourist spot has its unique features and landmarks. I have visited Matheran Hill Station, Calangute Beach, the Vaishno Devi Mountains, the Nilgiri Hills, Gorai Village, and the Amby Valley. However, Matheran hill station is my most memorable tourist spot.

We travelled to Matheran by a toy train, which carried only a few passengers, unlike the express train. During the journey, we cracked jokes, played card games, and sang some songs. Some little mischievous lads were running to and fro, creating chaos, while an elderly couple glanced through the newspaper nearby. At last, our exciting train ride came to an end.

When we arrived at our destination, we summoned a taxi to drop us off at the Sunrise Inn. The hotel lobby was out of the blue, with huge chandeliers and cosy sofas. A glamorous receptionist welcomed us with a broad smile, and the kind and resourceful receptionist handed over the keys to our spacious suite.

As we opened the door of our suite, we saw a luxurious, modern, comfortable bed and soft sofa settee where we could relax. I was thrilled by the fragrance of fresh lavender and lilies. Through the huge windows, we could experience the scenic beauty of nature with the glory of the rising and setting sun. The sight of nature was nostalgic, and we could stare at it for long hours.

The breakfast was elaborate, with Puri bhaji, hash brown potatoes, Masala Dosa, fruits like watermelon, kiwi, strawberries, and apples, and beverages such as fresh pineapple juice, coffee, and tea. The lunch was also delicious.

The evenings were packed with a galore of activities, such as horse riding, trekking, paragliding, and rock climbing. Unlike what we do at home, we explored the various tourist spots. Each spot has its unique beauty, with its various landforms, flora, and fauna. Although Matheran is small in the area, it has its charm, and hence, I would love to visit this hill station again and again.
