Similarities in others’ speech:

Differences in others’ speech:
- Distinct cultural or personal backgrounds.
- Unique reasoning or priorities.
- Contrasting conclusions about the same issue.
Task 2
Examples of perspectives:
- Personal perspective: “I feel climate change affects my health directly.”
- Local perspective: “Our community faces frequent floods due to rising sea levels.”
- National perspective: “The government must invest in renewable energy to reduce emissions.”
- Global perspective: “Climate change is a worldwide challenge requiring international cooperation.”
Identify perspective in a text:
- Read carefully and decide whether the view is personal, local, national, or global.
- Example: If a text mentions international cooperation, it reflects a global perspective.
