In your absence your younger sibling has played in your bedroom leaving it in a mess. Describe the bedroom as you see it in front of you. Include your thoughts and feelings.

An overwhelming sight greeted me as I turned the creaky old handle of the weathered wooden door. My once tidy sanctuary had been transformed into an unruly mess resembling a chaotic dump yard, with garbage scattered about. An unexpected piercing pain shot through my toes as I bravely ventured further into the cluttered room, akin to the sharp sting of a knife slicing through fresh vegetables.

The aged brown wooden drawers, now resembling the gaping maw of a mythical dragon, appeared poised to consume anything in their path. Desolate and broken, my once vibrant desk stationary seemed to have lost all signs of life.

My heart sank as I surveyed the damage, my new edition book lay drenched in water, a relentless stream flowing from its saturated pages as I gingerly lifted it from its sodden resting place. I had no choice but to plead with my father for a replacement.

A towering mound of clothes had overtaken my once inviting bed, concealing it entirely from view. My iPad lay in shattered disarray, resembling an unsolvable jigsaw puzzle with no hope of restoration. Tears cascaded down my cheeks, each drop a testament to my overwhelming sense of despair.

The mirror bore the scars of partial destruction, a haunting reflection of the devastation that had befallen my once peaceful haven. The once elegant rose-pink boots, coated in a sticky substance reminiscent of the slimy residue on the walls, appeared equally violated. The white blind curtain's rods, twisted and fused at both ends, exuded an unsettling sense of distortion. Meanwhile, the photo frames quivered on the wall, their once stable positions disrupted.

The flower pot had endured what seemed like an explosion, its once tranquil contents strewn about like disaster victims. Even my pillow and bedsheets were not spared, infused with a pervasive, repugnant odour that tainted the very air.

Exuding an aura of mystery, treacherous black and brown muddy fingerprints ran from the wall, leading a precarious path towards my prized lilac skirt – meticulously prepared for an elocution competition. The ominous thought of potential failure haunted my mind, sending shivers down my spine.

In the aftermath, I laboured tirelessly to restore order to my dishevelled sanctuary. Yet, a lingering and perplexing question plagued my thoughts: how did the mischievous interloper breach the confines of my securely locked room?

OR

As soon as I opened the old wooden door, the room; looked like a dump yard, with tons and tons of garbage. I couldn’t believe how my room was. Ouch! The long nails bit my toes like a sharp knife cutting the veggies.

The brown wooden drawers were like a dragon’s mouth waiting to eat something delicious. The stationary was broken as if they were dead.

My new edition book was drenched in water. As I picked it up, water starting flow like a full-speed open tap. I had to request my dad to purchase the same book again.

Mountain of clothes dominated my bed. My Ipad was now puzzle pieces making it impossible to fix. My eyes welled up with tears and now it is unstoppable.

The mirror was damaged partially.  The tall rose pink boots were as sticky as the slime on the wall.  The white blind curtain’s rods from both ends were melted and merged as the twisted stem. The photo frames were dancing on the wall.

The flower pot was victims full of a bomb blast. The pillow and bedsheets were painted with a strong yucks smell.

Black and brown muddy fingerprints ran from the wall and towards my lucky lilac skirt which I had kept ready for my elocution competition. Thoughts of losing the competition gave me chills.

In the end, I had to clean everything, but I still had a doubt in my mind, ‘How did the mischievous person enter my room when it was locked?’
