Write a speech on study exchange programme.

Good morning parents and teacher, I am a parent of a student studying in Grade 6 and would love to discuss a study exchange program.

This year the school has managed to organize a study exchange program and my child has applied for the same. I feel that sending kids to another school would be an unsafe environment, as kids aren't used to being independent. The mischievous kids will need to be responsible enough to represent our school and nation. It could be a competitive area for our kids.

Students, who have applied to this program, will be gone for four weeks, which is a huge amount of time. As they settle there, they come across new educational practices and are exposed to a new culture. If the school overseas, are continuously making kids use smartphones, then our kids will have a bad impact on them, after returning, won't they?

On the other hand, it's difficult for teachers to adapt new lessons for students from overseas, who are here for the exchange program. The most difficult part for kids is when they aren't ready to leave their family, school, or friends for just 4 weeks because they have had support from many people, don't you think that they can be uncomfortable?

If the school runs a study exchange program in the same country before moving kids to adapt to the abroad system, then it would be a stress reliever for parents as well as kids. So that they primarily learn about their nation and then move ahead. This is only the chance, where them can have a competitive workplace and success in higher education.

Yet, the program offers many benefits to students, as they return they may have an aspiration to work in another nation to succeed. The students will not only overflow their minds with knowledge but also new skills.

The exchange program renews an open-mindedness and motivation regarding today's world. Students can develop their social interactions, and language skills and even broaden their horizons. It will also provide new opportunities such as developing young personalities, resilience and a sense of adventure.

Thank you all for listening to me carefully and having me here to present my perspectives to you. Hope this helps you to have an understanding of the exchange programme and points out to you whether you should allow your kids to opt for such a programme.
