Write a speech on extreme sport.

A warm welcome to you, my young comrades. I am here before you to highlight the pros and cons of extreme sports.

Jumping off cliffs, scaling vertical rock faces or nailing BMX aerial manoeuvres do not have many takers as they involve high risk. Researchers have often focussed on the negative aspects of these sports but it is not so as it has many positive benefits too. The Australian research states that though high-risk sports are risky, they somehow give a mental boost. The athletes participating in these sports events have the advantage of overcoming fears and building up their confidence and courage. The stereotypical youth, who is frightened of exams, who resigns form a job or just competes in a fun-run can get a lesson from this. If they participate in stressful sports they too can build up their confidence.

The great cliff jumper Heather Swan, who had several risky encounters, claims that it helped her to face everyday fears.

A participant in extreme sports due to intense fear, brushes with death and the realisation that nature is more powerful and this makes him courageous and humble.

Some people love to play team sports while others engage themselves in lone sports. When athletes take part in lone sports such as white-water kayaking and skateboarding and many others feel an adrenaline rush which makes them more alive that they were and tones up their muscles. These participants are willing to take up more dangerous challenges.

Watching extreme sports is fascinating so companies are offering sponsorships to thrill seekers to associate their brands. Unless one participating in extreme sports is the master of the sport he can attempt it otherwise he will face repercussions like accidents and death. It could also pose a danger to rescue teams.

So my young men and women this speech is an eye opener to us that we can face the hazards in this rat race by working hard and actively taking part in dangerous sports. So let's hurry and see what we can do in this regard.
