Dear Headmaster and my friends,
I, Yashvi Gavankar, am a student in 9th grade and wanted to tell you all about eSports and why it should be added to our sports curriculum.
eSports means electronic sports. Stadiums, concert venues and theatres are filled with audiences who love to watch a variety of video game tournaments. The skills and talents of a person are well-recognised. If we, students have intelligence and dexterity then we can succeed in gaming. Often the players and audience playing/watching eSports are young. eSponrts allows us to continue our existing passion in competitive gaming to earn our living. These games have sequels and upgraded versions coming up.
I know that wearing headsets and playing with a joystick is not good for physical health, because the child will not be running in reality. Not only young males, but young females and parents can entertain themselves with eSports. This removes the gender discrimination taking place in sports. eSports tournament draws a large amount of audience towards it. Gaming is a traditional sports league trying to gain popularity.
Nowadays people are demanding eSports more. Even though these electronic sports have many disadvantages, I would love to say that this is the only area where girls won't be compared to boys, the game would be fair to everyone. This is a new trendy sport and I think we should consider on having eSports in our curriculum. If anyone has queries you can ask me now or meet me in room 420. Thank you.
