Write a letter to the head teacher of your school about optimism.

Dear Head Teacher,

My name is Yashvi Gavankar, and I am writing to suggest adding an Optimism lesson to our school's curriculum. The word 'Optimistic' refers to a person who thinks positively.

Having optimistic students can bring new ideas and ways to make things better. They never give up on something due to failure, and instead, they work hard to achieve their goals. Even when they are ill, they come to school to study. On the other hand, pessimistic students who are hard-working and intelligent may have a negative impact on their studies and results. Encouragement from teachers may not be able to change a student's perspective. Students who have a fear of failing may be able to reach their potential with teaching strategies that help them focus on success. Positive thinking is beneficial to physical and mental health, as claimed by Harvard Medical School. Optimists have more chances to live longer and have better outcomes from surgery.

I believe that teaching optimism in our school would allow students to improve their lives. Optimism would enable students to overcome difficulties in their lives and lead to a better future. I hope you will consider my suggestion.

Sincerely,

Yashvi Gavankar
