Youngster: We would love it if the legal age for driving cars becomes 16. Here are a few reasons why:
1. During the COVID situation, we have to avoid being on public transport, so if we learn to drive now, we can travel alone.
Officer: Dear kid, for travelling during COVID, you can either use public transport or request your parents to drop you off.
Youngster: But my parents are working and they don't have time to drop me off at college.
Officer: Then you can use public transport.
Youngster: 2. Driving early will help us develop our driving skills.
Officer: What will happen if you develop these skills two years later? You kids are immature right now.
Youngster: We will be experienced.
Officer: Accidents may not only happen because you lack experience, but they can also occur when other drivers are inexperienced like you.
Youngster: Buying a car is a one-time investment.
Officer: Your vehicle will cause pollution.
Youngster: It will be easy to travel.
Officer: You are a college student, and driving may distract you from your studies.
Youngster: Travelling by public transport everywhere is expensive.
Officer: I understand that it's expensive. Let's see what we can do.
