 How schools have changed!

Most people believe that the school system has undergone positive changes over time, but not everyone shares that view. In this article, we will discuss how schools have evolved from the past to the present.

Parents and children alike are happy with the current education system. In the Victorian era, classes were overcrowded, making it difficult for teachers to address individual students' concerns. Today, with fewer students in a class, teachers can focus on each student's needs.

In the past, schools had a strict Christian moral code, and students were expected to follow it. Nowadays, there are no such restrictions.

The curriculum in the past was gender-biased, with girls learning stitching and boys studying "manly" subjects like geography. Today, there is a wide range of subjects available to all students.

Summer vacations have always been a part of the school year, but in the past, they were longer to allow children to help their families harvest crops. Nowadays, students enjoy these vacations for leisure activities.

In the past, misbehaving students were punished severely, such as by having their hand hit with a ruler or being made to wear a "Dunce" hat. Today, teachers take a more lenient approach.

One downside to the current system is that students receive shorter breaks than they used to.

Overall, students, today enjoy a better balance of work and play than in the past when they had to focus almost entirely on their studies.
